SilverSneakers
Members enrolled in the HOP Medical Plan or HOP Pre-65 Medical Plan have no-cost access to the SilverSneakers® fitness program from Tivity Health, Inc.
Members enrolled in the Value Medical Plan do not have free access to SilverSneakers. Members enrolled in a managed care plan may have access to SilverSneakers. Contact the managed care plan directly for more information.
With SilverSneakers, you can join a local gym or take part in a fitness class designed specifically for seniors, which includes access to:
- More than 13,000 fitness locations throughout the country
- On-demand workout videos led by a certified instructor on strength training, cardio fitness, yoga, and stability
- SilverSneakers FLEX®, which allows you to participate in fitness classes right in your neighborhood. From a walking club to an aerobic dance class at your local recreation center, SilverSneakers FLEX brings the fitness to you. If you can’t find a FLEX class near you, you can request a SilverSneakers FLEX location.
- SilverSneakers GO mobile app—available from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app helps you find the nearest SilverSneakers location, access workout programs, set reminders, view your member ID number, and more!
Getting Started With SilverSneakers
Step 1: Locate a participating location at silversneakers.com, or call the HOP Administration Unit toll-free at 1-800-773-7725.
Step 2: Take your SilverSneakers ID card to your preferred location. If you need a replacement card, call 1-888-423-4632 (TTY: 711).
Step 3: Tell the person at the front desk that you want to start using your SilverSneakers benefit. A Program Advisor or staff member will help you get started.
Step 4: The staff member will take you on a tour to show you the equipment, SilverSneakers classroom, and locker rooms. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Step 5: Work out and have fun!
